Rob Gronkowski May Be Contemplating Retirement

The Patriots tight end was noncommittal about his future plans.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Rob Gronkowski may be considering retirement, according to a report from ProFootballTalk and a series of non-answers from the tight end following the Super Bowl.

Murmurs of a possible Gronkowski retirement began Sunday afternoon when ProFootballTalk tweeted, "This is 99-percent wild guess but it would not shock me at all if Gronk retires after tonight's game."

After the game, Gronkowski was asked about the possibility that he'll hang up his cleats.

When he was asked what would make him retire, Gronkowski replied, "I'm not ready for these types of questions right now. I'm going to sit down and reflect on my season."
