Robert Kraft Prostitution Case Hearing Abruptly Cancelled
Prosecutors' case against the New England Patriots owner took what many believe to be a crippling blow earlier this week.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — A status hearing scheduled for Friday morning in Robert Kraft's prostitution case has been cancelled. The abrupt cancellation, which comes days after a Florida judge dealt what some believe to be a crippling blow to the state's case against the Patriots owner, is reportedly because the judge in the case became ill. Earlier reports pondered whether the cancellation signified the state working on a deal with Kraft or deciding whether to continue pursuing charges altogether.
Judge Leonard Hanser ruled Monday that prosecutors could not use video evidence acquired through a search warrant it obtained. Prosecutors said the video shows Kraft paying for and receiving sex acts at a massage parlor in Jupiter.
The Palm Beach County Court said it isn't known when Friday's hearing will be rescheduled to, according to WPTV.

Kraft pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor charges of soliciting another to commit prostitution stemming from visits to the Orchids of Asia Day Spa & Massage the day before and morning of the AFC Championship Game in January.
