Russell Disposal Sets up Buyback Program for Unused Tags and Bags

Russell Disposal will stop picking up trash in Foxborough on July 1

From the Town of Foxborough:

Effective July 1, 2015, Russell Disposal will no longer be the trash and recycling service provider for residents of Foxborough.

For residents with orange bags and tags, Russell with buy these back from residents. A Russell Disposal representative will be at Town Hall (40 South Street) on the following dates and times to take back these bags and tags:

  • Tuesday, July 14, 5-8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 28, 5-8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 4, 5-8 p.m.

The refund program will end on Aug. 4.

The process will be that each resident will complete a voucher which will be verified and signed by the Russell representative, and a receipt will be given to the resident. The vouchers will then be turned into the Russell Disposal office and checks will be sent out to residents within 10 days.

For those residents with 6-month stickers - Russell Disposal will be reaching out to you directly to provide any reimbursement.
