MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield Police are now investigating a robbery that took place at a connivence store on Route 140 over the weekend.

On Sept. 17 at about 10:23 p.m., a masked man entered the X-Tra Mart at the Mansfield-Norton line on South Main Street. He then told the clerk to "push the button to open the drawer" and give him all the money in the draw, according to Mass. Most Wanted.

When the cashier asked if this was a joke, the suspect replied, "I'm serious" and grabbed his waste line as if to imply that he had a weapon. He then asked the store employee if she wanted to die.
