Braintree Stabbing: 3 Face Murder Charges
Police say an argument led to a Weymouth man getting stabbed.

BRAINTREE, MA — Three people face assault and murder charges following an alleged stabbing over the weekend.
Kerry Duggan, 33, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed assault to murder; [name removed] was charged with assault and battery and assault to murder; and Michael Duggan, 28, was charged with assault and battery, assault to murder, and obstruction of justice. All three were arraigned Monday in Quincy District Court. Kerry Duggan was ordered held on $10,000 bail and [name removed] and Duggan were both ordered held on $7,500 cash bail.
At 1:37 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a report of a stabbing on Howard Street. At the scene, police found a trail of blood on Howard Court. The victim's car was located in Weymouth and the victim, a Weymouth man, was later located at South Shore Hospital with stab wounds in his left hand and back.

The victim told police that he left a family party to visit a friend on Howard Court. When he saw the lights were not on at his friend's house, he chose to turn around and leave. While leaving the street, [name removed] stopped him and began to yell at him about a girl he was using for Adderall. The victim told police that he felt the incident was a show for [name removed]'s friends, who were starting to come onto the road.
Shortly after the victim left his car, Kerry Duggan approached the two with a knife, according to a police report obtained from Quincy District Court. She then allegedly stabbed the victim and three more people began to attack him. The victim told police that he was unable to identify the fourth suspect.

At 5:26 a.m., police went to the home of [name removed], who said he heard nothing. When asked about an alleged blood stain on his shirt, he said it was from Ramen noodles, but when asked to show his hands, police noticed that his left knuckle was bloody.
A sweep of the house turned up several people, including Michael Duggan. Officers were initially unable to find Kerry Duggan but she was later located on the roof.
During questioning, Michael Duggan said he was sleeping and [name removed] said the victim showed a knife and he was defending himself. He denied the use of a knife.
In court, the attorneys for the three called the victim's account of the incident less than truthful,according to the Patriot Ledger.
All three are due back in court Oct. 16 for a probable cause hearing.
