Braintree Hotel Teen Death Ruled Homicide

The medical examiner's office has determined that the death of Reina Rodriguez was a homicide.

BRAINTREE, MA — The state's medical examiner's office as determined that homicide is the cause of death for a 19-year-old who was found dead inside a hotel in Braintree.

In June, police received a 911 call at the Hyatt Place Boston/Braintree on Forbes Road. At the hotel, police found the body of a Lawrence teenager named Reina Rodriguez. Few details have been released since Rodriguez's death.

David Traub, a spokesman for the Norfolk County District Attorney's office, told the Patriot Ledger that their office is not disclosing the cause of death at this time.
