GoFundMe Created For Brockton Teen Killed In Avon

BROCKTON, MA — The mother of a 19-year-old Brockton woman killed in Avon near the Stoughton line has created a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the expenses related to her daughter's death.

Titled "Funeral expenses for Ariel Dineen" Andrea Dineen is hoping to raise $25,000 to cover funeral costs. She wrote that the figure does not include ambulance and hospital expenses.

"My beautiful daughter's life was cut short way to (sic) soon. Completely destroying my world as well as our family's and many friends were heart broken," Andrea Dineen wrote.

Ariel Dineen was a crossing the street from Party City to the Dunkin' Donuts near the road to Jordan's Furniture and IKEA Saturday afternoon when she was struck by a Jeep. She was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
