Scouts Complete Project to Benefit Recreation Department
Scouts complete picnic table project to benefit the Foxboro Recreation Department.
The Foxboro Recreation Department has gained six new picnic tables thanks to Jacob Tomaso and members of Troop 99, Troop 126, and Troop 2 of Franklin.
Tomaso, a sophomore at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, headed up the project.
"He did an amazing job and we will see him over the summer as he working at the boy scout is camp at Mill St," said Donna Phelan, Recreation Coordinator of the Foxboro Recreation Department.
Tomaso was able to gain donations worth more than $3,000 to help with the project. Bass Pro Shops, Aubuchon Hardware, Chase Lumber, National Lumber, Panera Bread in Walpole, Papa Gino's on Commercial St. in Foxborough and Pepsi/Snapple all contributed donations toward the picnic table project.

- Troop 99 - Richard Dunning, Cathy Tomaso, Lew Pollock, Stewart Miklas, Matt Pollock, Vince Gerber, Jonathan Tomaso, Brendan Miller, Kai Smith, Scout Master Michael Tomaso, Joe Kroon, Tom Kroon, Chris Gerber, Eagle Scout Troop 99
- Troop 126: Regis and Danielle Schratz, Benjamin Miller, Eagle Scout Troop 126.
