Selectmen Approve Change to Town's Gift Policy
Recipients are recommended to review the gift with the town manager's office.

Foxborough, MA — Changes to the town’s gift policy have been approved by the selectmen
The change to the policy relates to reception of gifts and grants by employees and departments heads. Under the new policy, it is recommended that municipal officers and department hards review the the donation with the town manager’s office to make sure there is no conflict of interest.
Selectman Ginny Coppola voted against the motion, voicing support for a mandatory review rather than a recommended review.

The change passed 4-1, with Coppola being the lone no vote.
