Selectmen Approve Raise for Town Finance Director

Finance Director Randy Scollins will receive a 2.5 percent merit increase and a 2 percent cost of living increase.

Foxborough Finance Director Randy Scollins has received a raise from the selectmen.

After giving Scollins high marks in his evaluation earlier this year, the board approved a 2.5 percent raise Tuesday, as recommended by Town Manager Bill Keegan, increasing Scollins’ salary by about $3,100. The raise is retroactive to July 1 and bumps his salary to $129,240.

“I think by and large he does a terrific job as our finance director,” Keegan said. “I think we’re very fortunate to have him.”

Scollins’ increase also comes with a 2 percent cost of living increase which he declined until his merit increase received a vote.

While the evaluation and recommendation were made in July, a busy August pushed the vote to Sept. 22 according to Scollins.
