Selectmen Endorse New Town Hall
Voters will have they say on a new building during a Special Town Meeting in February.

Efforts to build a new Town Hall took a step forward Tuesday when the Foxborough Board of Selectmen voted to support the construction of a new 16,692-square-foot, two-story building.
The vote passed 3-0 according to the Sun Chronicle. Selectmen David Feldman and John Gray were not present at the meeting.
Instead of the traditional fall Town Meeting, a winter meeting, likely in February, will ask residents to vote on the building, which is estimated to cost $8.3 million. Permanent Municipal Building Committee Chairman Bill Yukna said there will be precise bid figures when the issue gets a vote from the public.
