Selectmen to Start Liquor License Violation Hearings Next Month

There will be three meetings to address the violations.

Nine establishments that failed a liquor license compliance check conducted by the Foxborough Police Department will face disciplinary hearings held by the selectmen starting in November.

Town Manager Bill Keegan announced on Tuesday night that the hearing are schedules for Nov. 12 and 19, and Dec. 8.

On Sept. 25, the Foxborough police Department conducted a compliance check for 29 businesses in town with a liquor license. A 19-year-old from Stonehill College was sent into the restaurant or bar and told to ask for an alcoholic beverage. If the 19-year-old was asked for his license or his age, he gave his real license and real age.
