Stadium Advisory Committee Member Recovering After Medical Scare
Stadium Advisory Committee Vice Chair Mike Ashapa is recovering after suffering a medical emergency at a recent selectmen's meeting.

FOXBOROUGH, MA —Stadium Advisory Committee Vice Chair Mike Ashapa is doing well after suffering a medical emergency at a selectmen's meeting.
During Tuesday's selectmen meeting, committee Chairman George Bell said that Ashapa was recovering well after his scare at the Aug. 23 selectmen meeting. While speaking during the public hearing for the Bruce Springsteen show at Gillette Stadium, Ashapa needed medical attention and was quickly attended to by members of the Foxborough Fire Department, who were at the meeting for an earlier pinning ceremony.
Bell added that Ashapa wanted to be at last Tuesday's meeting for the continuation of the Springsteen hearing.
