Superintendent Gets Contract Extension, Pay Raise
The school committee approved a three percent raise and a two-year extension for Debra Spinelli.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Superintendent Debra Spinelli received a contract extension and a raise this week.
The school committee approved a three percent raise and a two-year extension, according to the Sun Chronicle. The deal keeps Spinelli in Foxborough through 2019 and gives her a salary of $186,558.
In other school news, Foxborough will avoid issues with state cuts to kindergarten funding. Business Administrator Bill Yukna said they assume the cut was going to happen.

Foxborough received about $55,000 from the program, but that was not a factor when calculating the cost of full-day kindergarten.
