Surprise! Rob Gronkowski Visits Foxborough Public Schools

The Patriots tight end surprised Foxborough students with stops at all five schools Tuesday.

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and the Vince Lombardi trophy took part in a surprise tour of the Foxborough Public Schools Tuesday, delighting students and staff members.

The team’s website says that Gronkowski visited all five public schools in town, starting at the high school before stopping by the three elementary schools and Ahern Middle School.

The tour started in the morning with a visit to the high school gym, where the tight end gave advice to the soon to be graduating Foxborough seniors.

At the other schools, Gronkowski took questions, posed for photos, and even had a dance-off and spiking contest.

“Rob Gronkowski could not have been more generous with his time, attention, energy, enthusiasm, special sense of fun, and his obvious love for children,” Foxborough superintendent Debra Spinelli told Patriots.com.
