Survivor Update: Foxborough's Jeremy Collins Advances to Last Seven
Plus, Collins finds out that his wife is pregnant with a boy.

Short of winning the grand prize, Foxborough’s Jeremy Collins got the best gift he could dream of on this week’s episode of Survivor.
The show kicked things off with a reunion between the contestants and their loved ones. For Collins, it meant a visit with his wife Val, who brought the news that their unborn child will be a boy.
Emotional at the sight of his wife, host Jeff Probst said, “That was the fastest sprint to a loved one that I’ve ever seen.”

Unfortunately, the reunion would be shorted lived as a prolonged visit depended on winning the rewards challenge, which was taken by Kelley Wentworth, who brought her father, Joe Anglim, and his father along for an America BBQ.
The immunity challenge would provide a scary moment towards the end of the competition. This week, contestants had to balance a small statue on a pole that was extended every five minutes. With Anglim and Keith Nale remaining at the 80-minute mark, Anglim suddenly passed out, giving Nale the win and the show a medical scare.

Emergency crews treated and cleared Anglim, but there would be no sympathy votes at tribal council with the long time target finally voted out of the game and into the jury.
During the immunity challenge, it was announced that one male and one female would receive immunity. Wentworth won the challenge on the women’s side.
With seven players remaining, alliances and hidden immunity idols are becoming more crucial by the day. An all-female alliance became a possibility towards the end of the episode and Collins still has yet to play his second idol.
Survivor airs on CBS Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
