NH Man in Walpole and Foxborough Robbery Cases Gets Jail Time

Edward M. Traeger, 41, of Mount Vernon, N.H. will serve time for a series of robberies that took place in January.

ATTLEBORO, MA - A man who was wanted for robbing a North Attleboro laundromat and attempting to rob a Foxborough Subway and Walpole massage parlour will face time in prison.

Edward M. Traeger, 41, of Mount Vernon, N.H., pleaded guilty to the North Attleboro case in Attleboro District Court, according to the Sun Chronicle. He was sentenced to two years in jail.

The sentence is concurrent with jail sentences he is currently serving at the Norfolk County House of Corrections for the Foxborough and Walpole incidents.

On Jan. 11, Traeger demanded money from the clerk at the One Stop Laundromat on South Washington Street in North Attleboro. The suspect fled in a white Lincoln after taking an unspecified amount of cash.

Hours later, police received a report of a man who held up a Subway in Foxborough but left with no money. Again, the suspect fled in a white vehicle.

About an hour after the Subway incident, the suspect allegedly walked into Massage Envy on Route 1 and demanded all of the money in the register. Traeger was in jail for 40 days as he waited for his trial.
