Swastika Found Outside Foxborough Middle School

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A swastika was discovered drawn on the grounds outside Ahern Middle School Friday. School officials believe it was likely drawn sometime after school last Thursday. On Friday, Superintendent Amy Berdos sent an email to parents letting them know the incident occurred.

"After school today, high school students entering the Ahern Middle School for track practice discovered the image of a swastika drawn in pencil on the pavement behind the building," Berdos said. "This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated."

Berdos said the school grounds are under video surveillance and Foxborough police are investigating.

Last Friday, a similar incident happened the next town over in Easton. A swastika was discovered drawn in pencil in one of the boys bathrooms at Oliver Ames High School.
