Tom Brady Hasn't Committed To Playing This Season: Report
The end of the era may already be upon the Patriots, according to a new ESPN report.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — What is happening to the Patriots? Add Tom Brady to the very top of the list of bedrock players who may not be sure about playing next season.
Brady hasn't yet committed to playing in 2018, league sources told ESPN in a report published Wednesday. This doesn't mean Brady won't be playing - ESPN says people close to him expect he will - but the number of people in the soon-to-be 41-year-old Brady's life are pushing for him to retire, ESPN said.
Neither Brady or Rob Gronkowski have been present for the start of New England's voluntary offseason workout program. That's not entirely new for Brady - but he hasn't missed since 2010.

Brady's relationship with Bill Belichick has reportedly been frosty for some time, much of it stemming from a well-chronicled issue the coach had with his quarterback's controversial body coach Alex Guerrero. Many believe Belichick traded Brady's would-be successor Jimmy Garoppolo at the request of owner Robert Kraft to make Brady happier.
Gronkowski's status for 2018 is also still up the air, according to multiple reports. Gronkowski said after the Super Bowl that he would need time to consider his future in football. Then came offers from the WWE and Hollywood. There have been reports that even if he does play next season, he could be traded.

Following a weird and disappointing Super Bowl, the Patriots offseason has already seen the departures of Dion Lewis, Malcolm Butler, Nate Solder, Danny Amendola, and Matt Patricia, as well as the trading away of Brandin Cooks and the near-departure of Josh McDaniels.
