Tom Brady's GQ Interview Didn't go as Well as Expected

The Patriots quarterback refused to answer questions about Deflategate for the magazine's Men of the Year issue.

Tom Brady’s interview for GQ Magazine’s Man of the Year edition did not go well, at all, mainly because the interview mostly focused on Deflategate and the controversy that followed it.

Brady, who was on the cover of the issue and took part in a photo shoot, had no comment on the matter in Chuck Klosterman’s article “Tom Brady is the Greatest Quarterback of All Time. Period.”

“I don’t really wanna talk about stuff like this. There are several reasons why. One is that it’s still ongoing. So I really don’t have much to say, because it’s—there’s still an appeal going on,” Brady said.

When asked about if he thinks the Patriots are perceived differently because of the scandal, he replied, “I don’t really care how the Patriots are perceived, truthfully. I really don’t. I really don’t. Look, if you’re a fan of our team, you root for us, you believe in our team, and you believe in what we’re trying to accomplish. If you’re not a fan of us, you have a different opinion.”

During the phone interview, which only lasted minutes, Brady also touched on if he has asperations for elected office and whether Randy Moss was the finest pure athlete he’s ever played with.
