Town Workers Move Into New Town Hall Monday

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Town Hall staff will move into their new home next week.

Town Manager Bill Keegan announced Thursday that town employees will move into the new Town Hall Monday, June 26. Although town offices will remain open, services will be limited due to the transition, he said.

At last week's selectmen meeting, Keegan said he hoped to get everyone into the building this week, but a delay of a few days was possible.

The move comes after years of discussion and heated debate over the state of Town Hall. The town broke ground on the new building in April 2016 and construction was expected to take 14 to 16 months.

The move-in date puts completion on the early side of the target.
