Two Hospitalized Following Carbon Monoxide Leak

Foxborough Fire responded to the gas leak Friday afternoon.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Two people were taken to the hospital following a report of carbon monoxide at a home in Foxborough.

A person at a Cedar Street home told Foxborough Fire late Friday afternoon that there was a high level of the deadly gas in the home. The leak was confirmed and an improperly working gas applicant was determined to be the cause, according to Foxborough Fire.

Two people were transported to Norwood Hospital by a Mansfield ambulance as a precaution.

The home was turned back over to the owner following testing and a check by the Foxborough plumbing inspector.
