Video: FHS Principal - 'Search for Something that Makes You Tick'

Foxborough High School Principal, Jeffrey Theodoss, addressed students and families on Class Night.

Foxborough High School Principal, Jeffrey Theodoss, addressed students, faculty, friends and family at held in the FHS auditorium.

Theodoss, who spoke for approximately 6:00 minutes, urged students to continue to search for that "certain something that makes them tick."

"[Search for] something that excites you and makes you wake up enthusiastically in the morning and say,' lets go'," echoed Theodoss.

Theodoss left students with a few of his thoughts, some original and some, "he confessed, plagiarized."

1. "Always be a first grade version of yourself instead of a second grade version of someone else."

2. "May your favorite animal be a turtle. In order for a turtle to move it needs to stick it's neck out."

3. "For some of you, consider yourself lucky that Mr. Theodoss likes you."

4. "Be bold. The worst thing anyone can say to you is no. Everyone fails at something in their lifetime." 

5. "After the graduation ceremony your family will be proud of you. You can't imagine the relief they will be feeling - this will be an opportune time to ask for money," Theodoss joked.
