Visions for Vacancies: Aubuchon Hardware
What should go into the building that was once home to a hardware store?

FOXBOROUGH, MA —Drive around Foxborough and you'll eventually find some empty storefronts, buildings, and lots. In this week's "Visions for Vacancies," we're looking at the building at the center of town once occupied by Aubuchon Hardware.
The store closed their doors for the last time on July 25, with no notice to the public and their employees. The next week, Town Manager Bill Keegan told the selectmen that the closure was due to low sales.
While the store is gone and the disappointment is there, the now-vacant store could be a part of the plan to redevelop the downtown area.

"As I see that property, it has all kinds of potential. Now is the time to start looking at the downtown potential because you have a different type of piece," Keegan said at a recent selectmen meeting.
With the building now vacant, what would you like to see come to the center of town? Tell us in the comments section.
