WATCH: Old Foxborough Town Hall Comes Down
The old building has been demolished.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — The long-time home of Foxborough's town government has come down, replaced by a new, modern facility.
The demolition of the old Town Hall began Thursday, ending the 15-year process to replace the building. When the process is done, the land will be used for a parking lot for the new Town Hall, located behind where the old building once stood.
The decades-old building was also once home to the Foxborough Police Department, which occupied the basement level. The department moved into their current public safety building nearly a decade ago and the Town Hall staff moved to their new home earlier this summer.
