Water Main Break Shuts Down Cocasset Street

From the Foxborough Police Department:

Traffic Advisory: Water main break - Cocasset Street underneath the railroad bridge (near East Street). Town of Foxborough DPW Water Department is on scene for repairs. Roadway is impassable. Detours are as follows:

Cocasset Outbound - Left onto Morse Street, which becomes North Main Street in Mansfield. Follow almost to Mansfield center and turn left onto Oakland Street. Follow back into Foxborough (becomes Summer Street) to East Street.

East Street (Inbound) - Follow East Street into Sharon, as it becomes East Foxboro Street. Take your first left onto Wolomalopoag Street. Follow to end, and turn left onto South Main Street, which becomes Mechanic Street in Foxborough.

Impacted area is open to residents only. Detail Officers are assisting with traffic.

The Water Department is also repairing a second water leak near 6 Linda Street. Linda is closed from Connie Drive to Jean Lane. We will update on restoration times when information is available. Thank you for your patience.
