Weekend Crash Results In OUI Charge For North Providence Man

FOXBORUGH, MA — A North Providence man faces charges that stem from a Saturday early morning crash.

Anthony DeBurgos, 27, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lane violations and speeding, according to the Sun Chronicle.

The crash on Interstate 95 North sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries. Police say a vehicle driven by DeBurgos crashed into a disabled vehicle on the highway.

DeBurgos is free on bail and was expected to appear in Wrentham District Court Monday.
