What is Open and Closed on Thanksgiving?

Turkey Day is almost here. It’s also the start of the holiday season.

Thanksgiving will be observed on Thursday, Nov. 27 this year. Here’s a list of what’s open -- and closed -- on the holiday:

• Town Hall: Will close on Wednesday and reopen on Monday, Dec. 1.
• Retail stores: Closed.
• Supermarkets, liquor stores: Closed.
• Convenience stores: Open at owner’s discretion.
• Gyms: Closed or reduced hours.
• Bars and restaurants: Open at owner’s discretion.
• Stock market: Closed.
• Municipal, state, federal offices and banks: Closed.
• Libraries and schools: Closed.
• Post office: Closed.
