What's Open, Closed on Thanksgiving in Foxborough

Thanksgiving Day is here. It’s also the start of the holiday season.

This year, like last year, we only have 28 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas so you’ll have to cram in your shopping in a four-week period.

Thanksgiving will be observed on Thursday, Nov. 26 this year. Below we have a list of early Wednesday closings, what’s open (and closed) on the Thanksgiving holiday, as well as town offices that are also closed on Friday, Nov. 27:

Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26:

  • Retail stores: Closed.
  • Supermarkets, liquor stores: Closed.
  • Convenience stores: Open at owner’s discretion.
  • Gyms: Closed or reduced hours.
  • Bars and restaurants: Open at owner’s discretion.
  • Stock market: Closed.
  • Municipal, state, federal offices and banks: Closed.
  • Libraries and schools: Closed.
  • Post office: Closed.

Friday, Nov. 27:

  • Boyden Library: Closed (reopens Saturday, Nov. 28)
  • Town Hall: Closed
  • Senior Center: Closed
