This Will Be the 10th Straight Weekend of Snow

We’re already a week into spring—but this is New England so it should come as no surprise that more snow is on the way.

At least 1-2 inches will cover the region Saturday. Parts of the state could get as much as 3 inches.

Here’s the Foxborough forecast:

• Friday: A chance of rain showers before 4am, then snow showers likely, possibly mixed with rain. Cloudy, with a low around 32. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
• Saturday: Snow showers. High near 36. North wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
• Saturday Night: A chance of snow showers, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. North wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
• Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 39. Northwest wind around 8 mph.

Parts of New York and Connecticut were blanketed early Friday.
