Woman Arrested On Drunken Driving Charges In Foxborough: PD

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Whitman woman was arrested on drunken driving charges after police said she almost struck several vehicles. Lauren Tobiaz, 46, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lane violations.

Just before 7 p.m. last Thursday, police were called to the intersection of Commercial and Walnut streets after witnesses said someone driving a Kia Soul was driving erratically. Police said the driver, later identifed as Tobiaz, was speeding and almost hit several other cars while trying to pass them in the right lane.

Mansfield police assisted, waiting at the town line on Route 140, and Tobiaz was eventually pulled over on Walnut Street in Foxborough, police said. She was held on $540 bail.
