Your Foxborough Weather: Showers, Thunderstorms Start the Week

After a perfect weekend weather wise, more wet weather is on the way to start the work week.

Showers are expected to roll in Monday afternoon and Monday night. On Tuesday scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted all day and into the evening. But don’t fear - warm, summer weather returns on Wednesday.

Here’s a look at Mansfield’s weather forecast for the upcoming week, according to the National Weather Service:

Monday: A slight chance of showers after 2 p.m. with partly sunny skies, and a high near 71 and a low around 62. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible during the evening.

Tuesday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible between noon and 11 p.m. with patchy fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 77 and a low around 61.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82 and a low around 61.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83 and low around 63.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83 and a low around 62.
