2 Injured In Separate Framingham Weekend Stabbings, 1 Charged
A suspect hasn't been identified in a Friday night stabbing while charges were filed in a Saturday night stabbing on Irving Street.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Two separate stabbings in Framingham over the weekend have prompted investigations by local police and led to charges for one person.
The first stabbing is believed to have occurred on Friday night near Obrien’s package store on Franklin Street, police said. A suspect has not been identified at this time, but police said they "do not believe this is a random incident."
The second incident occurred on Saturday night at 174 Irving St. A suspect was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

"Through preliminary investigation, it has been determined that these incidents are not related and pose no risk to our community," Framingham police said.
Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are currently being treated at area hospitals, police said.
