6 Coronavirus Deaths In Framingham, Largest One-Day Increase
With the six new coronavirus deaths, Framingham's case total rose to 1,146.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham saw its deadliest day yet in the coronavirus pandemic on Wednesday: six new deaths were reported, bringing the pandemic total to 42.
Along with the new deaths, city officials learned of 39 new coronavirus cases, bringing the citywide total of 1,146. Two-hundred and ninety people have recovered, leaving 814 active cases in Framingham.

Framingham is still looking for donations of homemade masks. Gov. Charlie Baker has mandated that all state residents over age 2 wear a face covering in public — although the Framingham Board of Health put in place a similar order on April 16.
Homemade masks can be dropped off (in a plastic bag) at the library branches at 49 Lexington St. and 746 Water St. There are specially marked boxes at those branches.
