Officials say Trooper Kevin Trainor knowingly put his cruiser in harm’s way to protect other motorists, and colleagues describe his actions as a clear, life-saving sacrifice.
3. 'Ready to grow.' MetroWest MA leaders push transportation initiatives (milforddailynews.com) — Framingham riders are at the center of new MetroWest transportation pushes, with leaders stressing protection of the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail line during the Allston project and highlighting the Framingham-based MWRTA’s growth. Officials also link better transit and water infrastructure to attracting jobs, while warning that proposed statewide income tax cuts could squeeze funding for these improvements.
