Bank of America Branch To Close in June

Massachusetts' largest bank announced it will close four branches, one in Framingham.

Bank of America, the state’s largest bank, will close four branches in Massachusetts out of its 270 branches, according to regulatory filings.

The will close on June. 22

“We constantly evaluate our retail network to ensure we are meeting evolving customer demand,’’ said Bank of America spokeswoman Christina Beyer Toth in a statement. “While we will continue to expand and invest in our banking center network through more personalized services and expertise, we project that ultimately the number of banking centers we have nationwide will continue to decline.’’

Bank of America told investors last year it plans to close 750 of its 5,700 branches in the next few years.
