The Six Million Dollar Man aired from 1973 to 1978. It starred Majors as astronaut Steve Austin who was injured in a crash and he was rebuilt with bionic parts by the government. His right arm, both legs and the left eye were replaced with bionic parts that enhanced his strength, speed and vision. In the series he could run up to 60 miles per hour and had a zoom lens in his eye of 20 to 1. Now with superhuman powers, the television show had him working for an agency called the Office of Scientific Intelligence as a secret agent.
The popularity of The Six Million Dollar Man show spawned the Bionic Woman, television show from 1976-1978, starring Wagner.
She portrayed tennis pro Jamie Sommers who was severely injured in a sky diving accident. Her bionic parts included a bionic ear, a bionic right arm and bionic legs, that also allowed her to run up to 60 miles per hour.
Tickets are available at the door for Super Megafest.
Admission is $35 for the weekend, $26 for one day for adults and $15 for the weekend for children under age 12 or $10 per day.
