Charges Filed In Shots Fired Incident On New Year's Eve In Framingham
A juvenile faces multiple charges after firing a gun near Bates Road on New Year's Eve, police said.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — An extensive Framingham police investigation eventually found the person responsible for firing a gun near Bates Road on New Year's Eve, officials said.
Through extensive interviews and investigative means, detectives were able to charge and arrest one male juvenile with assault with a dangerous weapon (firearm), attempted assault and battery by means of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling and possession of a firearm without an FID card.
This was an isolated incident with no further threat to the community, officials said.
