*COVID-19 UPDATE*Since Wed., Sept. 29, 30 Residents have Tested Positive, 25 More have Recovered, and City was Informed of One New Fatality Related to COVID-19;Health Department Distributes Demographic COVID-19 and Vaccination Data;Trilingual Food Resource Guide;Update on the Vaccine Equity Initiative in Framingham;Public Health Nursing Clinic Hours and Offerings;Rapid BinaxNOW COVID-19 Tests by Appointment Public Health Nursing Clinic

• Since Wednesday, September 29, 30 residents have tested positive, 25 more have recovered, and the City was informed of *one new fatality related to COVID-19: The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is 8,944. With 8,500 recovered and 252 fatalities, Framingham currently has 160 active cases. The Framingham Health Department contacts individuals who test positive and the people who were potentially exposed to inform and counsel them on the next steps.*Address updated for an individual who passed away in spring 2020 in a facility outside of Framingham, but whose residence was in the City.  
• Health Department Distributes Demographic COVID-19 and Vaccination Data: The City's Department of Public Health distributes demographic COVID-19 data about confirmed COVID-19 cases and vaccination efforts in Framingham. Reference today's data release here.

• Update on the Vaccine Equity Initiative in Framingham: Since Wednesday, March 24, 6,117 vaccines (Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson) have been administered under the Equity Initiative. Framingham continues to exceed many of the state benchmarks on COVID-19 vaccinations. To request a home visit, please call the City's Public Health Nursing Office at (508) 532-5667. • Public Health Nursing Clinic Hours and Offerings: COVID-19 and childhood vaccinations, lead screening, tuberculosis testing, and more are available. No appointment is needed for the services mentioned. Face coverings/masks are required to be worn at all times in the clinic. Hours at the clinic are Monday-Friday: 8:30-10 a.m., and Monday-Wednesday: 4-7 p.m. Questions about nursing services can be directed to Kitty Mahoney, kcm@framinghamma.gov, or (508) 532-5472.
• Rapid BinaxNOW COVID-19 Tests by Appointment Only Being Offered for Framingham residents at the City's Public Health Nursing Clinic: Testing is for Framingham residents by appointment only. If you have health insurance, please bring your health insurance card with you. Face coverings/masks are required to be worn at all times in the clinic.
