Bring the excitement of basketball and math together with this fun family activity!

How to Play:

1. Create a bracket with 8 pretend teams.
2. Use event cards like:• “A bag has 4 blue cubes and 1 red cube. Drawing blue is ______.”
• “A spinner has 4 equal sections. Landing on red is ______.”
• “A bag has only green cubes. Drawing green is ______.”
• “A bag has 5 cubes: 0 are purple. Drawing purple is ______.”

3. Decide: Is the outcome certain, likely, equally likely, unlikely, or impossible?
4. Teams with correct answers roll a die — highest roll moves forward!
5. Track answers and make a bar graph: Which likelihood word came up most?
