Community Comes Out to Support Blood Drive for Emma Tierney

Dunning Elementary School played host to the drive for the seven year old battling Leukemia.

A Blood Drive was held at the Dunning Elementary School in Framingham Tuesday afternoon as a benefit for Emma Tierney, a seven year old girl who is battling Leukemia.  Children’s Hospital, Boston supplied the Bloodmobile, staffed by Lisa, Amy Bev, Ron, Frank & CindyLee, who assisted the donors, once they were inside.  

Several friends & family began the procession of blood donors, led by Shaun Keefe, who was soon followed by, AnneMarie Fortini, Ron Jewell (Emma’s uncle), Rebecca Miller (Legislative Aide to Tom Sannicandro), Bob Fair (Emma’s Grandfather), Kelley Kounadis, Kylon Colinet, Jennifer Benstock State Representative, Tom Sannicandro, Lisa Busenburg and Andrew Lassen, to name a few.  Emma’s sister, Addison, was also there to help with the auction and lend a hand.

Jessica & Tom Tierney expressed special thanks to Jen Duane, Janna Muhlhausen, Jen Benstock, Emily Horrigan and Kristin White for their friendship & support and for making the drive a success.
