Old Framingham Papa Gino's Could Become Pot Shop
A community outreach meeting on April 18 will discuss the proposal.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A community outreach meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday April 18 for a proposed retail marijuana shop. The meeting will be held at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center at 1657 Worcester Road. The meeting will be held in the Commons Room 1.
The proposed shop would be located at 1137 Worcester Road in the former Papa Ginos location. The meeting is meant to be informative, with spokesman from the company — BCWC, LLC —proposing the shop offering insight to the safety and management plan of the shop. There will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions.
BCWC, LLC is an Attleboro-based dispensary business that started in January 2017.

So far six businesses have been recommended to the mayor for host community agreements. Between November 21, 2018 and March 31, 2019, the MAT received 17 applications from 16 applicants.
