Community Outreach Meeting For Proposed Pot Shop on Cochituate Rd

FRAMINGHAM, MA- A community outreach meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27 for the proposed retail marijuana shop at 655 Cochituate Rd.

The meeting will be hosted by Innovative Flower, the company proposing the shop, and will take place at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, located at 1657 Worcester Rd.

Innovative Flower is one of the latest applicants for a retail marijuana shop in the city. The company's application is not yet listed on the city's Marijuana Advisory Team website.

The city began accepting applications in mid-November and will allow up to six retail dispensaries to open. So far, two companies, Union Twist and Temescal Wellness, have moved forward in the process to begin negotiations with the mayor. Temescal Wellness, Inc. is planned for the location next door to Innovative Flower's proposal, at 665 Cochituate Road.
