Crossroads Community Church Welcomes New Lead Pastor

Crossroads Community Church, Framingham, MA, Welcomes New Lead Pastor Joe Romeo

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Crossroads Community Church is delighted to announce the arrival of its new Lead Pastor, Joseph (Joe) Romeo. Pastor Joe’s first day at Crossroads will be Monday,
September 18, 2017.

"My family and I are thrilled about coming to Crossroads Community Church," says Pastor Joe. "We are especially looking forward to building relationships with people in the Framingham community. We trust that everyone who comes to visit Crossroads will find it to be a place filled with warm and caring people who are genuinely interested in them."

Andy Skinner, co-chair of the search team that identified Pastor Joe, said, "Joe will fit well with our family-oriented approach to living in relationship with God and each other."

Associate Pastor, Dr. Vinnie Cappetta, sees this as a crucial time for Crossroads, a church with close to 60 years of history with only 4 lead pastors during that time. “A pastor at Crossroads can impact generations of people inside the church and also create a bridge to the MetroWest community. I am most excited that Pastor Joe shares our church’s desire to serve people outside of our church and to help them come to understand the relevance of Christ.”

For the last four years, Joe has served as pastor of a church in Iowa. In addition to his usual pastoral responsibilities, he was involved in his local ministerial group, served as co-chairman of the local food bank, facilitated a young couples' small group, wrote devotional articles for the local newspaper, and volunteered to coach wrestling and tutor reading at the elementary school in town.

A. in Biblical Studies and Humanities; and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned his Master of Divinity. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Debra, and they have three children.
