Cummings Properties Gives $1000 Donation to the Loring Arena Legacy Foundation

The Loring Arena Legacy Foundation wishes to thank Cummings Properties for their $1,000 donation towards the renovation at Loring Arena. Our friends Kevin Cummings and girlfriend presented our Skate Forward Capital Campaign to the Employee Directed Giving program at Cummings Properties and we were the chosen recipient.

Special thanks to Kevin for your continued work in the community and thanks for supporting our mission. We are excited to share the news that the Town of Framingham will be forwarding a Capital Budget Request at the 2015 Spring Town Meeting to renovate Loring Arena. The proposed renovation plans will not only modernize the facility, but also solve issues with handicapped access, gender separation & overcrowding.

The Loring Arena Legacy Foundation’s goal is to raise $500,000 to contribute towards the renovation. By making the arena ADA-compliant, everyone can take in a game or skating performance. With additional locker rooms and community spaces, we won’t have continued issues with gender separation and overcrowding. Other modernization plans include: a climate controlled 2nd level concourse, a modern concession stand, a pressroom and a meeting/function room.
