Detours In Framingham At Route 9, Route 126 For Road Work
Expect road closures all week while MassDOT continues construction at the intersection.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A major local intersection will be hampered by construction work all week.
MassDOT will be working at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 126 in Framingham through at least Friday. Each night starting around 9 p.m., MassDOT will detour traffic around ramps near the intersection.
The detour will direct Route 9 eastbound traffic to use Caldor Road and Route 30 to access Route 126. Route 126 drivers trying to get onto eastbound Route 9 will have to travel westbound along Worcester Road and turn around.

The detours should end each morning by around 5 a.m.
The work is part of a larger project to relieve chronic flooding under the Route 126 overpass during rainstorms.
