Emergency Road Repair In Framingham Shuts Down Edmands Road
A small portion of Edmands Road will be closed for about a week for a culvert repair, according to the public works department.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Drivers will have to avoid a small portion of Edmands Road near the Southborough line for at least a week.
The Framingham Department of Public Works has shut down the section of Edmands between Nixon and Barnbridge Circle — a private road about 1,000 feet west of Nixon — for an emergency culvert repair.
The repairs began at 7 a.m. Tuesday and will could last a full week. The closure will be in effect 24 hours per day.

Framingham drivers coming from east of the culvert can take Nixon Road to Route 20 and then head south using Farm Road and Parmenter Road. Drivers coming from near Eastleigh Farm and Southborough can use the same detour in reverse. The closure does not affect the Callahan State Park central parking area off of Edmands Road.
