During halftime of the Framingham High junior varsity football game, the turf field at the high school was named for Phil Read.
Yesterday, during the halftime of the Framingham High junior varsity football game, the file was named and dedicated to Phil Read.
The field is now known as ‘The Phil Read Turf Field at Framingham High School.’
Read worked in the Framingham Public Schools from 1966 to 1998, until he retired.
