First Parish Framingham To Host 'What To The Slave Is Your 4th Of July' Reading
A reading of Frederick Douglass' famous "What to the Slave is Your 4th of July" speech will be followed by a community discussion.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — First Parish Framingham will host a community reading of Frederick Douglass' famous speech "What to the Salve is Your 4th of July" two days ahead of the holiday.
The reading will be followed by a community discussion on topics including allyship, identifying racism and more.
Gathers at First Parish will also spend time remembering James Reeb, a white Unitarian minister from Boston who was killed in Selma, Ala. in 1965.
