First Time Framingham HS Voter Picking Sisitsky: Letter
Framingham High School senior Lucas Fernando Gustafson is voting in his first election in 2021.

The following is a letter to the editor and does not reflect the views of Framingham Patch
For the last couple of years, I worked on an art project called "Framingham: City of Dreams." I interviewed and photographed Framingham residents who have done amazing things for the city. That project, which centered around the stories of the everyday people of our city, helped open my eyes to the diversity and opportunity that Framingham thrives on.
Now, as a Framingham High School student and first-time voter, I have been thinking about how I will cast my first vote. I have a decision to make on Nov. 2. After reviewing the opinions of my favorite heroes of Framingham, like Shivang Patel, Nicole Doak, and Judith Grove, and reading the news for the last four years, my vote will go to Charlie Sisitsky.

I have seen a deep division in the city created by the current mayor. She has cut our schools’ budgets, neglected our water supply, and misused our taxpayer money. Charlie Sisitsky, on the other hand, has had an excellent record in local government. He has helped build a new building for Fuller Middle School, helped found Hoops and Homework for children and need, and has led urban planning throughout our great state.
This Nov. 2, I am proud to vote for the first time for Charlie Sisitsky.
